The PEGASO SDI is a distributed sharing infrastructure made up of GeoNodes and with three main components: a map viewer, map services and a spatial catalog. Thanks to this insfrastructure spatial metadata, services and datasets related to Pegaso project can be used and shared by end users (stakeholders, researchers, partners, ...) from a great variety of sources in a standarized, harmonized and interoperable way.


The Pegaso SDI has been designed to support the PEGASO Shared Governance Platform for the delivery of Integrated Coastal Zone Management, and the integrated assessments of coastal zones and marine areas in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.This infrastructure has been implemented in the University Autonomous of Barcelona (UAB) within the Pegaso working package WP3 leaded by University of Pablo Olavide (UPO) from Sevilla.
